HUNTER
For the hunter wanting large fast target acquisition markers only that is specific to their load and environmentals.
On the base layer of the turret a short line marks every 25 m/yds while a longer line marks every 50 m/yds, a number over a downward facing solid triangle marks every 100 m/yds e.g. 5 = 500 m/yds.
LONG RANGE HUNTER
For the hunter wanting large fast target acquisition markers set to their predetermined distance but still having the ability to utilise the firing solution offered when using a Kestrel or other ballistic solver for taking longer distance more technical shots.
On the first section of the turret a short line marks every 25 m/yds while a longer line marks every 50 m/yds, a number over a downward facing solid triangle marks every 100 m/yds e.g. 5 = 500 m/yds.
On the following section of the turret a short line marks every .1 MRAD while a longer line marks every .5 MRAD, a number marks every 1 MRAD or a short line marks every .25 - 1/4 MOA while a longer line marks every .5 - 1/2 MOA, a number marks every 1 MOA.
PRECISION HUNTER
For the hunter wanting fast target acquisition markers but still have the ability to utilise the firing solution offered when using a Kestrel or other ballistic solver for taking more technical shots in more challenging environments.
On the top layer of the turret a short line marks every 25 m/yds while a longer line marks every 50 m/yds, a number over a downward facing solid triangle marks every 100 m/yds e.g. 5 = 500 m/yds.
On the bottom layer of the turret a short line marks every .1 MRAD while a longer line marks every .5 MRAD, a number marks every 1 MRAD or a short line marks every .25 - 1/4 MOA while a longer line marks every .5 - 1/2 MOA, a number marks every 1 MOA.
The number of clicks per revolution of the turret is 80 for MOA and 100 for MRAD scopes.
NOTE: To build the most accurate turret we highly recommend that the data you supply has been validated for your rifle and scope combination with live fire confirmation.
